Preliminary Program

An awareness program will also be organized for the young researchers and young students, on 24 February, 2010 before the main Humboldt-Kolleg, where the representatives of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation may highlight the various programs. In this pre-Kolleg program, the Science Counselor and Representative of the Max-Planck Society in the German Embassy, New Delhi and Directors of DAAD and DFG Office, New Delhi will make presentations so that the young scientists participating in the Humboldt-Kolleg may interact with these representatives and may find out avenues best suited for them in Germany.

Other highlights:

1. Lectures by experienced researchers both from India and abroad and this may include some non-Humboldtians also.


2. Interaction of Young Scientists and Experienced Researchers organized at formal interactive meeting and later during the breaks between the session.


3. Awareness program to highlight the activities of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and other science funding agencies of Germany.
